Dog Training Information:

We offer each client a free initial consultation.

During the initial consultation we meet with you, your family and your pet. This gives

you a sneak preview of what will be necessary to guide you and your pet to an even

more rewarding relationship.

We will look at how you, your family and pet interact, this often reveals aspects of behaviors, where additional training would be beneficial, as well as guiding us to a common starting point.

It is important that we meet with as much of the family as possible, so that all members

of the family can be on the same page, able to reinforce the techniques learned in our sessions. This is also critical if you have younger children.

Although they often have the animal's heart, young children haven't yet developed the confident body language that is often necessary to gain an animal's respect.  Therefore the confused pet is finds themselves in the dominant/protector role. It isn't healthy for the animal to feel it has that kind of responsibility. We want to teach your pet to see your children as "Pack Leaders" too.
